Re: teamwise !forfeit vote
yeah from my time in HoQ ctf with the 8:0 mercylimit QLranks still counted the games as complete, it just treats it like any other game-ending criteria

Re: teamwise !forfeit vote
yeah it will prematurely auto-end the match at the predefined mercylimit difference, but only when it's hit.
i kinda forgot the purpose of the thread was about a !forfeit style vote... i kinda think, if you do decide to go down path of mercylimits, a more generic 7 or 8 score difference blanket mercylimit applied to all matches would be better maybe, just for consistency and automation more than anything. for example, 7:0 / 8:1 / 9:2 seem reasonable situations for mercylimit to kick in across all games. sure, sometimes there's an important player quit/join/swap at 7:0 and the tide turns with major CUMBACK but that's very occasional occurrence.
alternatively, if you're able to make it automatically ask the losing team if they wanna forfeit, via F1/F2 vote, once score difference reaches predetermined X amount, that sounds like a nice, fast, fluid solution that is the best of both worlds.
